Katerina's Guest House offers BandB in three comfortable, en-suite, four poster bedrooms. Each one is decorated in warm, rich, opulent colours making it an ideal venue for that special holiday in Northumberland.
Once part of an historic Coaching Inn, it has now been fully modernised to bring the past and present together in a pleasing combination. Some rooms have original stone fireplaces and beamed ceilings; all have remote control TV, mini fridges, superbly stocked tea-tray (with home-made treats!) and many other little perks for your enjoyment. Amongst these, you will find a range of quality bathroom toiletries, hairdryers and his and hers dressing gowns.

On offer are wide and interesting choices for evening dinner available by arrangement but, as Katerina's is so central, guests are also welcome to eat out at a number of local places within 5 minutes' walk.
For those who dine in, there is an extensive and reasonably priced list of wines, spirits and cocktails to accompany your meal. Sample Cath's vegetarian nutballs, Steak Katerina, garlic chicken, Cassata Siciliana or special meringues, all her own recipes!

In the morning come down to the scent of homemade bread and try some of our specialities such as "Scotch porridge" (with real whisky) followed by "Herby Tomatoes", "Continental Platter" or , of course, "Traditional English Breakfast" and many more choices.
In 2009, the Visit Britain Inspector awarded Katerina's a score of 100% for breakfast. We have had the "Breakfast Award" ever since. Bed and breakfast, Northumberland, can't get any better than this!
